This piece was painted on commission and is part of a series. Although the fower its self is not native to Montana, I couldn’t help but include it in the wildflower series. I inserted it into Montanas mountain like enviornment and gave the image that dusk feel. This painting was painted with high-grade watercolors and includes several pearescent, duochrome and interference pigments. The result is a painting with a lot of intense layers. Edges of grass and trees that reflect light and shift color when you’ll cross the room or as the natural light changes in your home during the day.
This original was painted on ampersand with fine grade watercolors and is resin coated to really make the colors pop.
